What is the likelihood of being asked for additional documents after applying for a DTV visa in Thailand?

Update on May 30: Still Processing, Pending Approval. Reminder-June 3 is a holdiay, so offices will be closed.

HCMC: Applied DTV soft power on Monday, status was Pending Document check until this afternoon and is now Processing, Pending Approval. My question is what is the likelihood of being asked for additional documents at this point? I’m trying to get a sense of how long the approval process will take. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently waiting for their visa application status, which is processing and pending approval. They inquired about the likelihood of being asked for additional documents at this stage. Community responses indicate that a timeframe of about 15 business days is common for the approval process, especially due to recent holidays. A lack of additional document requests after three days is seen as a good sign, suggesting a higher chance of approval soon.

They would have already asked you for any additional information, so "Pending approval" means you should get formal approval within a few days! GL

no. Pending approval don't say this, and they can ask for documents after this

not really, if you have been processed that quick, more than likely not a problem and more than often not ask for additional documentation once status has changed to pending approval Most genuine applications will be approved in 5 working days, unless there are Thai holiday interruption. It’s not complicated if you meet all the requirements.

The approval process has been around 15 business days due to the number of recent hols. The approvals should be

quicker from now. 3 days with no request for further documents is a good sign your docs are good but not a total guarantee of not being asked for more documentation.
