TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the duration of the 'pending approval' status for a Thai visa application, sharing that their application has been pending since Monday. They've received mixed responses from friends regarding the typical waiting time, which ranges from 5 to 10 days, and are unsure if this timeline is normal, especially without any requests for additional documents from the authorities.

A number of factors can come into play like: how long till you leave, how busy they are, what type of visa, etc... mine was about 5 days if I recall...

How about including some actual information in your post?

What visa? What embassy? What passport?

All of those make a difference.

I cannot find anywhere the embassy states their processing time for evisa. Their last announcement was in December saying they were switching to evisa but nothing since then. Most embassies are 15 business days, but if you get asked for more information the timer starts over. Also Monday and Tuesday are Thai holidays.
