Answer summary
When bringing your grandson to Thailand, you'll need a consent letter signed by his parents to allow you to take him out of the country. It's also advisable to have an affidavit from the parents, copies of their IDs or passports, and their contact information. While having a passport for your grandson is essential, ensuring you have proper documentation from his parents is equally important. Keep in mind that you should also be cautious and supervise him during your travels.

Have done this multiple times taking my Thai grandson out of a Thailand on holiday.. Be prepared with your documents..
You will an authority from your grandsons parents to allow you to yake him our of the country. Also be extremely careful while in Thailand and keep a watchful eye on him at all times. Theres grubs out there who will attempt to snatch him. I'm speaking from family experience.
Keith Mccue what are u on about whos gonna snatch him ? Youre talkin absolute bullshit , fearmongering asshole. Thailand is safer than most western countries
