Hello, i just wanna ask your advise

I am a chinese, working in Philippines. I have visa in Phil and i plan to stay in a long period in thailand.

1. Aside from certificate of employment, passport, payslips, bank statements, and visa what else should i request from my company? Will my regular employment contract suffice?

3. Is it better to apply at the embassy or online?

Any advise would be appreciated! Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a long-term visa to Thailand, particularly the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), you should request your company for a few essential documents in addition to your employment contract, including a Certificate of Employment and possibly a professional portfolio. The Royal Thai Embassy in Manila has specific requirements that may vary from other embassies. It is recommended to provide bank statements showing a minimum balance of 500,000 THB and to demonstrate proof of your purpose of visit, whether for workcation or attending specific activities. You can apply either online or via the embassy, as both methods are considered similarly efficient.

Yes. Applying online or via embassy is roughly the same. You choose what works better for you.
