Hi, I misplaced the 90 day report receipt (1st one since entering the country at the end of 2025). I can calculate on my own for the next one, but I don’t know which date to go off of since I did the last one early. Should I count 90 days from re-entry and then another 90, or 90 days from the day I went to immigration to do the last report?

In other words, does immigration extend the 90 days expiration another 90 days, or do they just give you 90 days from whatever day you go in, even if you’re 2 weeks early?
Answer summary
If you've misplaced your 90-day report receipt in Thailand, you should calculate your next report's due date based on the date of your last report rather than your re-entry date. It's recommended to file online approximately two weeks before the 90-day deadline, although different immigration offices may have varying requirements. In some cases, you might need a police report stating you've lost your original receipt. If your online submission is rejected, it may be due to submitting past the deadline, and it's advisable to visit the immigration office directly to clarify your situation.

I thought it was all done online now. When I was last there they stapled something into my passport, which I preferred. I then took a photo of it with the relevant stamp. To be honest, I've lost all track of how to enter and stay in Thailand now.

Your next report is due 90 days after your last report not 180 days from your entry date so try reporting online from around day 170 from your last entry to try to hit the 2 weeks to 1 week before due window for online reporting

of if I go off of the date I did it in person last time, my 90 days was actually on May 19th. I tried it online yesterday and it was rejected. Could this be because I was a few days past? Either way I will need to go in early next week to ensure it’s within the 7 days after window.

have you stayed in a hotel since your last report and not files a new TM30 when you returned home?

yes, I have traveled within the country. I went ahead and did the tm30 again today and then tried the 90 day online report again just in case that was the issue. It might be too close of a call to wait and see if it works though, my 7 days is up soon.

You could try it online. If its accepted print it out

submit an address notification in advance, especially if you've travelled out of country. Then the online has a better chance of being accepted. Even the online ones are processed by human immigration officers.

as a rule they approve the 90 day report the day you file it so figure out when you did it (estimate it) and then go file your 90 day report based on that

the good news is you can file a 90 day report in person from 2 weeks before the due date until 1 week after the due date <- so you have a 3 week window to apply..

the bad news is SOME immigration offices make you get a police report stating you lost your 90 day report receipt before you can file another 90 day report. :O So estimate when you might have filed and work out your time line to apply..
