TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending a visa at the Samui immigration office, applicants should expect to provide similar documentation as required for the initial visa application. This includes proof of at least 500,000 Baht in a bank account for the previous 30 days. Some users caution that the Samui office may not process extensions as easily as other locations, potentially redirecting applicants to the main office on the mainland.

Samui is a semi-rogue immigration office, so don't expect it to be easy. It's possible they tell you they cannot do it and tell you if you want to extend you need to go to the main office on the mainland

Basically expect to provide everything used to initially get the visa with updated re-registration/appointments if soft power plus provide proof of 500K+ in a bank in your name for 30 days prior to the application.

Proof of 500k baht equivalent in your bank account for the previous 30 days is a starting point.
