TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a 30-day Visa Exemption, you need to prepare several documents. Essential documents include your passport, the Thai Pass, and the TM6 entry form (which you will receive on the plane). It's recommended to have 20,000 baht or an equivalent amount to show you have sufficient funds. If flying via Singapore Airlines, ensure you have a recent RT-PCR test as required by the airline and Thailand. Additionally, print all your documents twice, despite any QR codes, to have backups.

Print everything twice even though you have QR codes

If your going via Singapore they require the rt-pcr test within 2 days of flight day where Thailand requires 72hours

thank you.

and also, from Thailand to Singapore, you don't need PCR. Just the ART test at certified facilities.

RT-PCR Test must be TAKEN within TWO days of flight to Singapore...not 48 hours

so in actual fact it could be 60 hours before your flight ie 9am test Wednesday 13th flight 9pm on 15th ? Thanks for the clarification.

I screwed up as Australia states hours not days so I stupidly went 2 days = 48

@Wayne ********
Singapore says within two days of RT-PCR test TAKEN...NOT results.

@James *******
I did not mention results anywhere

All good thanks James it was just interesting that the within 2days can go out to 60hours from test and I was just asking to see if my calculations was correct.

I do appreciate your input and info on posts it does help many to know what the rules are. Cheers

I just also wanna verify sponsorship is not acceptable In immigration if both parties are not married? Have you hear of it?

@Mimi ****
I’m not sure what you mean by sponsorship. Are you meaning like a “piggyback” visa?

ouh I didn't make it clear. Sponsor financially, I'll be the one to pay for all her expenses during the trip.I will make a sponsorship letter with my bank account details together with visa tourist application.

@Mimi ****
that would be up to the embassy you apply for the visa to decide. Sorry I don’t know what the situation may be for unmarried couples.

Thank you Michael Dawson. The 20k BAHT have to be cash or bank statement is enough?
Stuart *********
@Mimi ****
must be cash. Thai baht or equivalent in a major currency. A bank statement or phone app won’t suffice. 99% you won’t be asked for it, but you possibly could be.

that's noted🙏 I'll take cash instead.
