TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users clarified that it is not mandatory to purchase an air ticket before applying for the Thai Pass. While applicants need to provide flight details, they can enter approximate information without having a confirmed ticket. Additionally, travel insurance is required as part of the application.

No, you don't need to purchase an air ticket to complete your TP.

Thai pass takes a few days to be approved it would make sense to buy your ticket and insurance first

took me not even a minute

No, just enter the flight details you think you will use

Yes

Yes also insurance

These must be added to Thai pass application

Technically no, although during the process it’ll ask you for flight information. However that could be changed +/-7 days

Hi All.. I have just applied my thai pass , super easy ,below are those info needed

1) Confirmed travel insurance with policy number

2) Vaccination certificate

3) Passport copy with details (the first page with your photos and all details

As for the flight ticket just the flight number and arrival and departure time will do , NO NEED to buy a confirm flight ticket

I got the approval within have an hour

i got Thailand pass today as soon as I clicked apply

I thought I'll need to wait

But it came immediately. Now I have question

I booked 1 flight temporarily booking on Traveloka . But what happens if use another flight. They gave me choice of over 10 day's to arrive in Thailand

Don't have to be in that day. So I guess can use a different flight?

As an aside I wouldn’t recommend using a aggregator site. You may save a few dollars , but if you need to change or cancel you’ll probably be hit with a huge headache. Find a flight you like and book direct with the airline.

i understand you

I was trying to play with it. I can book directly from bamboo air or viet jet not s problem

I just want to be sure that its not a problem to come in in different flight that's all because if its a problem i might need to do Thailand pass again

I have not booked that flight. It gave me 4 hours to pay for it. A im not sure yet about anything

Whatever flight you said you’ll arrive on you have a 7 day window either side. If that’s not going to be the case you’ll need a new ThailandPass
