Who independently applied for a DTV visa for softpower cooking courses, Tell me what documents you requested from the school for the visa application.🙂

Answer summary

To apply for a DTV visa for softpower cooking courses, you will need to request various documents from your school after you inform them of your intention to apply. Key documents include a payment receipt, enrollment confirmation, class schedule, the school's registration details, and an ID of the school's director or founder. Multiple users have noted successful experiences with specific schools such as Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy, highlighting that additional documentation like cover letters and business licenses may also be required depending on the specific school.

Myself and a group of friends got approved with Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy, we all did it ourselves. From memory I submitted receipt of the course, cover letter from the school with my id details + the course details (how often, long the course etc), business licence, the director's id card, cooking class schedule. Only one of us as required to send further documents like pictures of the school, screen shot of the website.

Анонимный участник 258 Very detailed answer. How many days did it take them to prepare the documents for you? The thing is, I already paid, but there are no documents.

Anonymous participant it took about half a week, this was late last year. I'm sure they're much more busy now and probably take a week. Is your school going to give you the docs to do it yourself or give to an their partner agency to do it. Either way, I recommend getting a copy in case if immigration ever asks you for them when you try to enter the country (slim chance but you never know)

Where will you be living in Thailand?

Have you been in contact with a school which has successfully helped obtain their students with the required documents for the DTV visa?

What is your passport nation?

I haven't submitted the documents yet. I'm just asking for everything to be attached.

Anonymous participant read the posts about getting the DTV visa in the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you will be applying for the DTV visa.

Best Wishes for your success 🤞

You just tell the class you will apply the DTV. After payment, they will send you the required doc like payment receipt , enrolment , class schedule , school registration and director or founder ID attached document, etc. You just have to make sure your class is DTV eligible one.

Yes, many people here have already received DTV from this school, but the school usually works with agencies and rarely do they have single people like me who apply for a visa themselves.

Anonymous participant Plenty of people do the application themself. It sounds like this school is trying to push you towards an agent. Probably one they have an agreement with. You should do a search in this group for the school you are thinking of using to see if others have any comments about the school.

A. Nony Mous No, I did not find such reviews, either the reviews were about receiving together with the Agent or just an endless question about this school. I will be the first to give a review soon
