Hello everyone! For DTV soft power, schools (cooking or Muay Thai) have different programs such as full time course (5 days a week) and part time course (such as twice a week)...To apply for DTV visa, do we have to enroll in full time course?

Answer summary

To apply for a DTV visa in Thailand, you do not have to enroll in a full-time course. Enrollment can be for part-time classes, such as once or twice a week, as long as the course duration is a minimum of 6 months. It is recommended to consider longer programs of 9 to 12 months to fulfill visa requirements.

Read this from Arun Thai cooking school in Bangkok about there special DTV Cooking course for the DTV visa.

This is similar steps being taken by other Soft Power Activity courses which is in response to the need for 9 to 12 months of course classes to obtain the DTV visa.

VS...a Thai Embassy or Consulate issuing a SETV single entry tourist visa or METV multiple entry tourist visa instead of the DTV visa.
