Does anyone have anecdotal stories/experience of how long you have to send in documents after request for additional documents?

I'm doing the soft-power and am requesting documents from medical provider (Chiang Mai Ram in this case) and they told me will be atleast 7 business days.

I read someone said needs to finish within 90 days after paying fee but I'd like to clarify in case then I can send what I already have, which is not as detailed.

(This is applied at the Vietnam HCMC Consulate)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The time frame for submitting additional documents after a request can vary greatly. In one instance, a user mentioned it took them 25 days to provide bank statements. Others reported that they either weren't asked for additional documents or were approved without further requirements. There seems to be inconsistency in requirements for the DTV Visa, with some obtaining approval with minimal documentation, while others faced rejections due to inadequate supporting documents from medical providers.

fortunately have had a good amount of visits and receipts so I'm requesting that from the hospital now.

receipts from previous visits isn't what you need. You need a treatment plan going forward!

Yes that was behind the receipts (along with the other requirements from my other photo) but I also just asked them for a more detailed plan.

They didn’t ask me for additional documents. They just approved me.

Please keep us posted on your DTV Visa application. As the medical qualifications for it are difficult to really know what is needed. Some early applicants obtained the DTV with a single appointment while others are declined for too little supporting documents from the doctor and hospital. Good Luck 🍀

this could be helpful. It was what was requested. Prior to this I had only sent in an appointment for mid March (and receipts of previous visits but it didn't document what for).

I've heard some had just a single appointment too that's why I thought it was easy.

I have a history of MRI scan and multiple visits to doctors with PT recommendations as well as a potentially ongoing prescription, so I'm hoping it will work out ok.

frankly, I believe you will be denied the DTV Visa application. Suggest you try another purpose of the DTV visa.

I had to send bank statements and those took an additional 25 days. No clear answer to the question.
