Hello brothers and sisters.

I'm in the process of securing a work permit, however my employer (a government school in Sakon Nakhon) seems not to be aware that I need to have a police clearance for the Non B visa, hence doesn't know the right document to provide in order for me to request the clearance at the nearest police station.

PS: I'm on ED Visa.

Any sample will be highly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking guidance on obtaining a police clearance necessary for their Non-B visa application while currently holding an ED visa. They mention challenges with their employer not providing the needed documents. Community responses indicate that a DBS check from the home country may be required, and mention the necessity of visiting the police headquarters in Bangkok for a clearance. Additionally, there is mention of potential visa transfer limitations.

You need to go to the police HQ in Bangkok near Central World to get police clearance.

Also I could be wrong (90% sure I'm not) but I don't think you can change from a non-ED to a non-B while being in the country. You will need to leave and apply at an embassy in a neighbouring country or leave and re-enter on an exemption and convert the exemption.

I had to do a DBS check with a company in my home country, I think this was about £80 then they provide the certificate which you give to the school/immigration
