Bonjour,

They are asking an extra document : License or register of the boxing camp and a proof of payment.

What's the license ? I sent the whole letter written by my gym when I applied and I'm not the first one applying for DTV with them.

For the proof of payment, is a letter from the gym saying I paid enough ?

I texted the manager of the gym but in case someone here can help before she replies...

Thank you :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on additional documents required for a DTV visa application related to a boxing camp. Specifically, they inquire about what constitutes a 'license' for the gym and whether a letter from the gym confirming their payment suffices as proof. Comments suggest that gyms must have specific licenses for DTV applications and recommend requesting documentation from the gym, including proof of course duration and payment receipts.

Honestly the gym should be giving you a complete DTV paperwork package once you pay.

All Muay Thai gyms need various government licenses to allow them to be used for DTV applications. Ask the gym what licenses they have and for copies of them along with a receipt for the course you signed up for. Just as a heads up you should have a course of over 6 months duration, they are getting a bit stricter on this

hi sorry. I paid a 18k deposit at my gym last month and i have a paper for that and another paper that says im booking for 6 months. Is it enough for a proof of payment ? Cos my gym says i can normally pay the rest on arrival only, once ive got my dtv.

which Thai Embassy or Consulate?

Where will you be living in Thailand?

Has the Muay Thai training gym had success in getting the DTV visa for its students?

Did they recommend the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you are applying for the DTV visa?

There are more documents required from the gym.

I see you have just joined this DTV forum today 18 August.
