TLDR : Answer Summary
To certify income for an O-A visa application based on retirement at the Thai Embassy in London, acceptable documents include a notarized bank statement, P60, or salary slips. Some users noted that a bank statement with an original stamp can also be sufficient. It is also recommended to contact the embassy for confirmation of requirements.

For OA in London you need original bank statement notarised by a solicitor. All other docs also need to be notarised.

Mine was just stamped and signed by bank official accepted no problem, nothing else notarised

Bank statement with original stamp from bank to certify, or p60 , pay slip or just send them all , they will send back to you anyway.

You not married yet? Get married then go to savannahkhet and get non o much easier for you as you are like me in and out then when u retire do extension of stay. With non o u get multi entry and much less hassle than non O A from london

it's hardly worth marrying a thai to get a Non-O visa :O

I'd say that Non-O-A visa runs circles around your multi-O where you border bounce every 90 days.

On that O-A visa you only have to leave the country ONCE in two years of stay :)

This is what they have on their website.

Email or call them, they're not too bad at responding (or they weren't last year when I called them).

they must know you we called them over a dozen times only one answer and that may have been a cleaner for the use they were lol no reply to emails either. We gave up in end. In fact they were not much better when we visited twice conflicting information and quite rude.

thanks Tod , will call in the morning UK time . I'm thinking it'll need an "income certificate" but I'll clarify with them . Cheers.

I think you need a notarized bank statement for the OA visa in the UK
