Hoping to head to Trat immigration tomorrow for first visa extension of 30 day visa exempt stamp. Can anyone confirm what documentation needs to be taken eg photos inside/outside our rented house?? Printed map?? Also, do all print outs/ copies need to be done in duplicate? Or will one copy of each suffice? Finally, has anyone been to Trat and can comment on how busy etc their experience was? Cheers!

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post inquires about the necessary documentation for a first visa extension of a 30-day visa exempt stamp at Trat immigration, including whether specific items like photos of the residence and a printed map are required, and if copies should be in duplicate. It also asks for insights on the busyness of Trat immigration based on others' experiences.

I would strongly advice to give them a call: 039 597 261

There are list going around on the internet with strange requirements of this office and if they are correct or not, nobody does answer.

As we are renting a house, we have been told TM30 is also essential, completed with landlady ID etc

we are from UK and had to take originals plus 1 copy of passport bio page, Thai visa stamp and departure card, passport photo to attach to form and 1900Baht and we filled in the TM7 form we collected there. Took us about an 45mins all in to complete processes at Trat office on Tuesday. Although I hear it’s much busier now. You also have to wear a face mask to gain entry, they are on sale at front door if you don’t have one.

Generally what is required is:

Two passport photos

Copy of your data page

Copy of your visa (if it applies) and entry stamp

Copy of your departure card

1900 THB
