What could have caused my visa application rejection at the Thai embassy in Jakarta?

1 September i applied, then 10 September got request for additional documents(visa in Indonesia, and proof of stay in Indonesia), then I got a pending approval status today(11 Sept), but just two hours later, it changed to “Rejected.” What could be the issue? I had 500k in my account for three months, and I also have a remote job with a contract, so my finances are stable. They didn’t specify the reason for the rejection, no explanation was provided. This was at the Jakarta embassy.

You state what they requested but you don't state explicitly what you gave them for their request

FWIW, I saw some folks getting 6 months METV (multiple entries transit visa) instead of DTV for less than 1 year Muay Thai classes.

Okay... Interesting. 🤔 Definitely not the main reason for rejection.

If you had done proper research and read the Thai Embassy website thoroughly, you would know, that they will not give reasons for rejection.

well thats why he asked the group for their (hopefully but clearly not constructive) thoughts and didnt ask the embassy directly. so i guess he did do his proper reseach...... the self righteousness of some people
