Hi everyone 👋

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience with the DTV visa processing in Spain and we are using Issa compass as an agency.

My partner (Spanish) submitted all required documents for his DTV visa on August 12th, but we still haven’t received any update. We already had to move our flight once because the process has been taking longer than we thought and now we’re supposed to leave Spain on september 16th

Any tips or shared experiences would be super helpful 🙏 Thank you in advance!

Answer summary

The user seeks advice on the prolonged processing of a DTV visa application submitted in Spain through an agency. They submitted their documents on August 12 but have not received updates as the departure date approaches. Commenters suggest directly contacting the Thai embassy in Madrid due to the lack of specified processing times and advise on self-research rather than relying solely on the agent.

If you've paid for an agent shouldn't you be asking them?

Absolutely no need for any agent.

Simply search for all the answers in the group about the specific embassy.

The Thai embassy in Madrid does not state a processing time, so I think you should contact them directly. Three weeks is generally quite a long time for a visa application to be processed.
