What are the requirements for the DTV in Thailand regarding bank funds and seasoning time?

Hi everyone im looking for some clarification regarding the dtv. I have recently received compensation in a claim against the nhs, im looking at using these funds for my DTV, i will be applying under soft power and doing Muay Thai. The problem is the money wouldnt of been in my account for 3 months when i go to apply but i can provide proof of where the money is coming from. Has anyone else had experience with being approved for the dtv when the funds haven’t been in the account for more than three months. I will be applying from London. Many thanks

One of the most basic requirements is the 500.000 Baht deposit in a PERSONAL account in you name and they have to have been in the account for 3 - 6 months, depending on Embassy.

You can not apply until you can fulfill that requirement.

London are the smoothest and quickest for dtv average 7 working days but yiu are approaching high season.  I am English did mine in Manilla, 3 of the most painful weeks of my life hanging around in a dump of a city known as Manila

As many have mentioned the money only needs to be seasoned for 10 days in the UK. You’ll still need to prove 3, maybe even 6 months of bank statement. I would include a cover letter explaining where the cash came from and wait the 10 days to submit

Three different replies so far. Is it 10 days, or is it 3 months, or is it now even stricter? No wonder people find the advice in this group confusing from time to time. Everything I've read online says an absolute minimum of 3 months.

London only requires 10 days of seasoning so you will be fine. You can provide proof of funds so you are ok there too.

The UK embassy only requires the 500k to be in your account for 10 days. You still have to supply 3 months' bank statements. I applied last year, and my funds were in the account for 3 weeks.
