TLDR : Answer Summary
When switching from a Non-O extension based on employment to a Non-O extension based on marriage, it's generally straightforward as long as you remain married and meet the financial requirements. Ensure your financial documentation is in order to avoid complications.

That's almost always a non-B visa.

As long as you are still married, and you have the money seasoned/ monthly income, there should be no problem getting another one year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national.

Just make sure you attend immigration to change everything the same day that your WP is cancelled. Go the next day and daily overstay at 500B per day will start.

AND don't believe ANY employer about you needing a Non-B to work. IF you're married to a thai you can legally work and hold a work permit without any issues at all on a marriage extension.

It's just that most employers WANT you on a non-B because that way they have control over your ability to hold the visa. If you're on a marriage extension and lose your job your extension isn't affected at all :O

yes sorry non-B extension (for work) to non-O extension (for marriage). Was previously on marriage visa (same woman / same address) but had to change when started working.

Given all that - if still no complications - thanks for your reply.
