Considering applying for DTV online via Thailand UK Consulate/Embassy as UK citizen. If main income is from property rent and stock trading and interest - what category and basis should I use? [Note that I do NOT operate via a company, just as a private individual! Thus, not working for any company!]

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen considering applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) online through the Thailand UK Consulate should focus on whether their income from property rent and stock trading qualifies under the appropriate visa category. It's advised to consider the 'soft power activity' option for those under 50, and for those over, the retirement visa may be more suitable. However, there are discussions about whether being a multiple property landlord disqualifies one from remote work under these visa regulations.
That is not true, London Embassy has approved several property owners some with just one property. You show how you manage it online and document the relative income. You can find posts in the threads
not sure about complicated, but you habe to have more money in the bank. Retirement you don't have to leave the country and can get a bank account easily ... DTV you have to leave every 6 months and so far difficult to get a Thai bank account. Just depends what's easy for you or what you need.
