What are the working hours of the Thai embassy and is it normal to receive a visa update on a Sunday?

does anyone know the working times of the different embassies? I got my acceptance email yesterday (on a Sunday) at 7:30pm from the Hanoi embassy. For my European mind this looked a bit suspicious and now I'm worried that it was a fake email. And I couldn't log in to the website to see what the update is there.
Did anyone get a visa update on a Sunday before?

Many people reported that in the past. even from european embassies… I guess they outsourced quite a few things to cheaper countries that work 24/7.

Another option / theory would be also fairly common: they process your stuff during the day. And in the evening the batches on their servers / software run to send out notifications to customers.

If you got the email and it has the attached PDF file (which is your actual visa) then you got approved.

The eVisa system was down (for people to apply/check status etc) but it's back up now (y)

Vietnam is known to send approvals after hours on weekends.

The final sign off will be a Thai MFA Consular Officer. They are probably just clearing their desks, so to speak, of busyness when they get a chance. Probably doing it while watching TV :-) :-)

I believe there is a lag between decisions made and the system sending out emails or updating on the site.  A consular could make a decision on Friday but the system might not send the email (or update on user end) until Sunday.
