When doing a border hop (not visa run) on a multiple entry, is there a rule as to how long you have to actually stay out of Thailand before going back in? Or can I just go out and come back in the same day?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When conducting a border hop with a multiple entry visa, there are generally no strict rules concerning the duration of your stay outside Thailand before re-entering. In practice, travelers have reported being able to leave and return on the same day without issues, though they should be prepared to pay for any visa on arrival for the country they are entering. The time spent at the border may vary based on the specific crossing.

Use the border near Surin. Can't remember what's the actual name of the border, but there's almost no people, no scams no lines. ☺

Make sure you got 30-35$USD in change . And a couple of passport photos for your visa on arrival.. you’ll be fine 👍🏻

You can go out and back straight away! Still have to pay for your visa on arrival to that country though .
