Got my 90days Non.O-Thai wife visa today...at Chaeng Wattana.

Submitted application 2 weeks back and went today for collection...fast service...about 1 hr only.

Next will be for the 1year extension application... planning to do when have balance 30days.

Anyone have experince using Thailand Visa e-Extension ?

Or better to submit in person at CW again.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses receiving a 90-day Non-O Thai wife visa quickly from Chaeng Wattana and plans for extending it to a one-year visa. It highlights the user's inquiry about the e-Extension system for applying for the one-year extension and seeks advice on whether it's better to apply in person. Comments clarify that the e-Extension is not available for extensions based on marriage, and provide tips for booking appointments at Chaeng Wattana for the yearly extension.

As
@Paul ********
correctly stated you can indeed book an appt to show up and get your yearly extension

you would do it at this web-link

*******************************************************************

You can make an appt no more than 30 days out <- in fact at 12:00 the appts for the next day a month out come available. SO you might have to set your alarm to make a booking because at least in Bangkok they book up FAST

As you can see there are NO appts available for marriage to a thai extensions for Dec just so you can get an idea

Last time we had to walk in and spent half a day at CW because we did not realize the appointment was booked up so fast (we tried to book like 10 days before expired). Next time we'll try to book ealier.

, did you read Tod’s comment? Appointment lots are open only for 30 days… January is more than 30 days away. Their first business day in January is Monday, 5th.

you cannot get an extension based on having a Thai wife thru the VFS E-Extension system it is not an option for that program.

You can apply for a yearly extension at Chaengwattana when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp (so for you any time after Dec 31st (providing your funds are seasoned the 2 months required)

the soonest you can do it is AFTER Dec 31st

so you're going to do it after the New Year Holiday

Immigrations is closed from Dec 31st until they re-open Monday Jan 5th

And I sure wouldn't show up that day to get the extension after the immigration office has been closed all those days for the holiday.

I'd do it middle of Jan or so
