For the workcation, how long must your company exist and what turnover must you show?

Unemployed from August due to redundancy. Looking at digital nomad options.

Are you setting up a new company now? There is no minimum income requirement but if making a limited income, showing additional savings can overcome that deficit. New companies have been approved for the DTV. You applying via London?

The only thing that's thoughtless is wanting to apply for a workcation visa when you say you don't want or need to work

The paperwork is to ensure people meet the requirements and intentions of the visa. Instead of being entitled why not just apply for an appropriate visa?

you make no sense.

I may or may not work from Thailand, and if I do I will work only 2 days a month on a £60k / yr NED contract.

As I don't need the income I might decide against the company all together, and just do the consultation pro bono. Thailand seem to want to faff with lots of bits of paperwork.

My other option is LTR. I am undecided if I will want to purchase a condo, but probably not. I prefer hotels.

My other option is to just bum around Asia, I like Vietnam, which I did last year for 4 months, combined with month at the start in Chaing Mai and at the end of Koh Samui.

I have posted links to many people who tried to get the DTV visa for Workcation... some successful and some not.

The additional documents which may be asked by the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you will apply...is what concerns me most. BUT if you feel you can answer their typical questions as seen in the links I shared...Go for It 💪
