Hello everyone,
Could someone please help me clarify a definite answer for Thailand Investment Visa.
I am thinking of investing in Thailand by buying a new property (condominium unit, owned by Thai nationals over 51%).
A few sources states that not only the investor but also the investor’s family members are eligible for the investment visa.
Is it the correct information? And if it is, how does it actually work?
- Buying/ Investing under all the family members’ names or just under 1 (investor’s) name?
- Where could I find the legitimate source of information concerning Thailand Investment Visa?
Thank you in advance.
Cheers.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Investment Visa allows investors and their family members to reside in the country by investing in approved properties, such as condominiums. It is essential to confirm details with credible sources, such as the Thai Embassy or the Board of Investment (BOI), which manages the visa process. The investment can be made under the investor's name or potentially under family members' names, but specific eligibility criteria must be adhered to, and the investment must be made in approved developments.
