What are the requirements for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand related to medical treatment?
Hello everyone, I have medical documentation issues with my central nervous system. I was wondering if anyone has a list for the medical/art classes that would be qualified to obtain a dtv visa. I have looked through the group and searched on Google didnt find anything mostly to help me. I am an USA citizen/passport holder. Thanks in advance.

You do not work, so why think about the DTV?

was just seeing the options I could have for a longer stay instead of a normal multi entry tourist visa. I probably just go to an agency 😮💨

Stem cell therapy in Puket or Bangkok, I have several spine surgeries and nerves there are damaged and I will go to Bangkok and have stem cells , but maybe the immigration will only give you a visa for get treatment medical , but maybe you should also look around for recovery options, maybe you can get a Dtv this way

you must contact the hospital to take a treatment plan of minimum 6 months or more....the related document can be used to apply for DTV.

Not sure what you mean. If you want to go the medical route, you need to identify a hospital and doctor and establish a treatment plan that lasts over 6 months and make explicit plans for when your doctor and medical appointments will take place

RedGrape3220 no. It has to be a treatment plan agreed upon my a licensed medical doctor that you physically visited to set up the treatment plan.

RedGrape3220, I’m in a similar boat. Couple of years till 50 so can’t do the retirement visa yet. I’m going g to try for a 6month Multi entry tourist visa so I don’t have to do classes etc as I’m not really able to.

OPDTV_BegPecker I have nervous system issues which require these type of treatments, also heavy medication, electrical shock, and recovery time so was just asking. I dont work so trying to figure out a way to be legal and visit thailand.
