Chiang Mai is a piece of pi55 to do yourself. Takes about 5 minutes at airport. Pretty quick at Central Festival. All you need is passport and TM47 completed.

If on tourist visa must report before 60 days..like 2 weeks before to get 30 day extension its actually more like 58 days and 29 day extension

been here 15 years you don’t report on tourist visa or exempt stamps other than a DTV which just came into play do a little research you don’t report when your leaving the country

any foreigner in Thailand must report if they are in Thailand for 90 days regardless of visa. The only exception is LTR which is 12 months

so how does a person on a 60 day tourist visa or exempt stamp make it 90 days even with extension there leaving on the 90 th day ???

you can get a 6-12 month tourist visa …..

The answer to your question is common sense , the original guys comment is correct also… 0-60 on exempt report to immigration for extension and leave on day 89

it’s not a 90 day report there only done on long stay visas there’s no tourist visa that allows you to stay longer than 90 days including an extension
