TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses options for completing a 90-day visa report in Chiang Mai, with multiple comments suggesting that it's a straightforward process that can be done in person without the need for an agency. Users share personal experiences indicating it takes only a few minutes at places like the airport or Central Festival, and mention the required documentation such as the TM47 form. One user provided a link to a specific visa agency, and others confirmed that it's manageable without professional help.
Chiang Mai is a piece of pi55 to do yourself. Takes about 5 minutes at airport. Pretty quick at Central Festival. All you need is passport and TM47 completed.

You can just walk up,you don't need a car.i cycle up to the window. Never been more than 10 minutes
been here 15 years you don’t report on tourist visa or exempt stamps other than a DTV which just came into play do a little research you don’t report when your leaving the country
The answer to your question is common sense , the original guys comment is correct also… 0-60 on exempt report to immigration for extension and leave on day 89
Bob D'Andrea any foreigner in Thailand must report if they are in Thailand for 90 days regardless of visa. The only exception is LTR which is 12 months
