ORIGINAL POSTER
At Chaengwattana today. Canceled my exstension of stay based on employment 24th april at counter N2. Went to counter N1 and applied for covid 19- exstension using letter from embassy. Got the under consideration stamp for 22 May. Paid 1900 baht.

Another gentleman was asking about the july 31st covid19 amnesty exstension. The IO said it's not being enforced yet so you have to abide by the current situation of April 30th.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user updated that they canceled their extension of stay based on employment on April 24 at Chaengwattana and applied for a COVID-19 extension using a letter from the embassy. They received an 'under consideration' stamp valid until May 22, after paying 1900 baht. Another individual inquired about the COVID-19 amnesty extension set for July 31, but immigration officials stated that it is not yet in effect.

Thanks for the update. The new visa amnesty will override the existing visa amnesty, once it becomes law. The new visa amnesty has not technically became law at this time.
