Hi!

Topic: Visa date and admission date differences.

Quick question. Am I observing the conditions of my visa correctly?

I am here on a multiple entry, B-A category visa which gives a validity of one year on the Visa card. Spent the weekend in Lao recently to see something different, different temples, Lao beer was good.

Upon my return I was issued an admission stamp of one year per their visa protocol. Well past my visa expiry.

Does this mean I am permitted to stay until December 2024? past march 2024 multiple entry will cease, I won’t be able to leave unless I return on a new visa sort of thing.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confirming their understanding of the validity of a multiple entry B-A visa after returning from Laos, noting that although the visa expires in March 2024, the admission stamp they received allows them to stay until December 2024. Comments clarify that as long as they re-enter Thailand before their visa expiration date, they will receive a new stamp valid for another year, and they will need a re-entry permit after March 8, 2024.

YES...that is a Thai Visa for Business or Investment. B-A.

It's valid for Entry into Thailand for the date's stated on the B-A Visa

Issued 9 March 2023 and Expires 8 March 2024.

It's a MULTI-ENTRY Visa during the full first year... Thru March 8, 2024.

If you leave Thailand and reenter Thailand on March 8 or earlier you will again be STAMPED in for One full Year.

During the time after March 8, 2024 you will need to have a Re-entry permit to keep the stamped ending date of your permission to stay in Thailand.
