What are the financial requirements for the METV visa application from the USA?

METV visa confusion?

Ive applied from the usa with my fiance twice and this second go round they are saying:

Financial evidence: an amount of no less than 20,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsorship letter): The past 3 months of bank statement that has

an ending balance of not less than 7,000 usd/person or 14,000 usd/joint account. The financials for Sep, Aug, and July show that the monthly balance is less than 7,000 usd/person. We cannot proceed with your visa

But isnt 20,000 THB only 594.52 usd? 

And when I look up requirements they say at least 2000 usd which we have way more then? 

Did something change? Whats going on?

Isnt it THB 20.000 (~$600) per person for applying Thailand Single Entry Tourist visa? It is not $2000

Johan_Budiotso I found out everyone is right, its 600 for any entry minimum. But somehow they are saying 7k for METV in the account for 3 months at the NYC Thai consulate when the only info I can see is 2k from the LA Consolate online

20k bath equivalent is any entry. The other is a specific amount for a specific visa.

B20k is usually for a SETV but you're applying for a METV

Every single page from multiple bank accounts under my name and same for him, but its was just his own personal account.
