Hi all, may I ask if anyone experienced doing border run here before? I have read the reviews are quite bad.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around personal experiences with doing border runs in Thailand, highlighting mixed reviews. One user reported a smooth experience while staying in Pattaya, contrasting with others who warned against specific border crossings with poor reputations. Concerns included potential overnight stays, dealing with unofficial individuals asking for passports, and advice on currency to carry.

avoid the dozen crooks without uniform who ask for passports, fill out the file yourself, and go there with $30, if you take bhat you will be cheated

Why would you pick the one border crossing with the worst reputation in Thailand? Where are you in Thailand?

it was 4 years ago but I don’t see why you would have a problem if you use a reputable company to go with

I won't be using any company because my gf insist to go by myself saying it's not a problem. She will be tagging along with me. 😅
