Can I combine my 90-day report with my yearly visa extension in Thailand?

My 90 day report ( married to a Thai)is due next week and my yearly extension runs out in November.

Would it be possible to do the yearly extension at the same time I do my next 90 day report? It works out 2 months between my next 90 report and the extension of my current visa and I don't want to lose 30 days as my next report will take me over the validity of my current visa extension.

What options do I have apposed to going back to apply for another yearly extension a month early? Will they even date my next 90 report with a date outside my current extension?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can simultaneously complete their 90-day report while applying for a yearly visa extension due to their concern about timing. Various comments clarify the purpose of the 90-day report, which is to confirm residence, and the separate timeline for the visa extension, indicating that different immigration offices may have different rules about early applications for extensions. Suggestions include performing the 90-day report online or checking with immigration during the extension application to streamline the process.

My immigration aligns the 90 report date with the extension renewal date. If I do a 90 day report 60 days before my extension is due to expire then they make my next 90 day report date 60 days hence.

Your 90 day report is for the PAST 90 days not the FUTURE 90 days. Itโ€™s just a report that you have been here and does absolutely nothing to extend your stay.

Can't you do your 90 day report on line? I did mine online yesterday. Took 5 mins. When you do your extension in November ask if the immigration officer can combine the two. It's not really a big deal deal.

I think you're over complicating things... just do your 90 day reports on line, even a duffer like me managed it in 2 mins . then do your extension as and when they're due. No advantage in aligning them.

Also, and this is Office specific, the IO may well process your 90 day report for you agin when you complete your extension (Phuket Office)

I think you might be confusing what the 90 day report does AND what the yearly extension does ๐Ÿ˜•

you can do 90 day reporting online from 2 weeks before the due date until right up to the due date

You can do 90 day reporting in person from 2 weeks before the due date until 1 week after the due date with out any fine

I believe you are mixing Apple's and Oranges...

The 90 day reports are set for each 90 days you are in Thailand.

The one year extension of stay as Married to Thai has its own timeline.

In most Thai immigration offices you may be able to apply for the one year extension of stay as Married up to 45 on days early.

Some offices say within the 30 days of your extension ending date.

The 90 day report can be filed Up to 15 days early and not later than 7 days after the due date of the 90 day report.

I guess one thought may be to do a border run bounce to time your re-entry to better coincide with your marriage extension.

IF you do that...be sure you have a Re-entry permit to re-enter Thailand... AND check with the Entry requirements for the country you are doing the border bounce.
