TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users have shared their experiences about applying for a tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Ho Chi Minh. Most report a positive experience if all required documents are prepared. Processing times vary, with some stating it can take 2 days while others mention getting the visa the next day. It is recommended to thoroughly check the embassy's requirements and perhaps search for more information online to prepare adequately.

Just jumping on this post as thinking of getting SETV in Ho Chi Minh. Confused by Thai consulate website as it says in one place, it takes 2 days to process. In another it says ready next day. Can anyone confirm please?

Was there last week (applied for SETV). Had all the documents they asked for. Took me 10 min to drop all the documents and 5 min to pick up our passports. But they did ask a lot of questions ( already have lots of tourist visas ) .

If you got all required documents to show then it will be very comfortable and fast to get a tourist visa there.

If you meet all the requirements they want for an SETV then you shouldnt have any problems

Just type Ho Chi Minh in the search box and you can read all night. Good stories, sometimes bad. But you find all you like to know.
