TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on making a border run to Myanmar from Khao Lak after six months of having a DTV visa. Comments suggest that the most viable option is to travel by road to Ranong, where you can take a longtail boat to Myanmar. It's noted that there are no direct boat services from Khao Lak, and users recommend using local border-run services to facilitate the process. The trip can be completed in a day.

Take the bus to Ranong (or drive yourself if you have the wheels), go to the immigration office at the port, you will be greeted by fixers who can arrange everything for you (do haggle). Take the longtail there and back and presto.

Can be done in a day from Khao Lak.

I think you'd have to head to Ranong by road and go from there. No public ferries from Khao Lak, and it's quite a long way. You'll find plenty of border-run services offered that can wrap it all up into a package for you.
