stupid move to try and goto Myanmar for a border run. just goto immigration and get an extension

There is no devastation at the Ranong border , it’s a 4 hour drive from Phuket. There is a speed trap in khura buri the last few days and an army checkpoint just before Ranong and two days ago it was also manned by police and immigration officers.

I Most definitely wouldn't be going to Myanmar now! There has been a devastating earthquake... Go to Cambodia.. So easy

In all honesty I can't advise you on that.. I always used to do my visa run to Cambodia.. Now I have a retirement visa which changes everything.. Good luck anyway 🙏
