If you’re in SEAsia just pop over to Guam and get it all done there
I may be out on the DTV since the background check came into play.
LA office said it’s case by case review, but I think a 30 year old assault (mutual bar fight) where I served 2 months will exclude me according to their regulations I found:
Thailand’s Immigration Act Section 12(6) refers to a person who has been imprisoned by judgment of a Thai or foreign court, subject to exceptions for petty offenses, negligence, or other regulatory exceptions. Thai law’s petty-offense definition is generally limited to an offense punishable by no more than one month’s imprisonment,
An FBI check may not be required. You might be able to use a check within your local state assuming you don’t still live in the state where it occurred.
no. FBI is required. I’ve been emailing the LA office. I can do the retirement visa but with the constant changes and freezing accounts, I’m not all that trusting of their system.
If in the US, get "Global Entry"... They will do a full immigration background check.. And with it, you'll be clear to come and go as you please... It used to be $75, but I see it's $120 now?! 👌🏿
