TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling from Bangkok to Chiang Mai recently has been relatively straightforward with fewer restrictions. A traveler noted there were no significant rules in place, apart from the requirement to register with the Chiangmai Chana app before exiting the airport. Additional comments indicate the absence of smoking rooms and lighthearted remarks about respecting customs upon arrival.

Before you get out of the airport, you will have to register with the Chiangmai Chana app/ website. Then you show the staff the confirmation page to go out.
