Hello, I will be doing border run on the 3rd nov approx to Laos, apparently you need to stay for 48 hours now, does anyone have any recommended companies I can book it with or your recent experience? Thanks π

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is planning a border run to Laos and seeks recommendations for companies and recent experiences. Comments indicate that currently, crossing at Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong requires a stay of one night in Laos instead of 48 hours. Others suggest alternative routes such as flying to Hong Kong or taking a bus from Udon Thani to Vientiane for convenience and lower costs.
i use nong khai . there is a bus goes from udon thanni to Vientiane .its easy and cheap. best cross early morning as it gets busy . 35 us dollars for the visa . i aint had to stay over before but seems u do now haha, still it will be fun have a few nights in Vientiane
No land border limits now and no need to stay overnight at the Mukdahan or Chong Mek crossings if you're entering visa exempt

There are only 2 borders that are requiring this as of now. Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong, and last report is they are requiring one night in Laos, not 24 hours, not 48 hours, one night.
