Anybody been to KL in the last 2 weeks for non B visa processing? Heard it's taking a while now and you have to stay longer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recently, Kuala Lumpur has transitioned to an eVisa system for Non-B visa applications as of October 8. Although some users report longer processing times, experiences vary. Two individuals applied online and received approval the next day, suggesting the system is effective for those already in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur went eVisa online system on Tuesday the 8th of Oct, I know TWO people who were already IN Malaysia, who applied online using the eVisa web portal and who were approved the NEXT day
In fact both those people are already back IN thailand on their new Non-B 90 day visas
there is no such thing as a year long, multi-entry non-B visa where you bounce every 90 days for the year anymore (NO consulate will sell it)
They went to Malaysia, applied online using the eVisa system for a 90 day single entry Non-B visa by uploading the required documents ,paying the fee and were approved in one day

I approved this post so members can be aware again that embassies and consulates in these countries already changed to eVisa applications. You apply for your visa through the eVisa system to the embassy or consulate that is located in the country you are physically in when you submit your application.
Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam.
Please check the website and official SNSs of RTE/RTCG you want to apply for your visa to for the latest update.
we know what you're doing, you GO to Malaysia, and apply online using the eVisa portal selecting the KL thai consulate
Make sure you READ the requirements carefully as far as the Non-B visa you're getting because they have several 'sub categories' of Non-B and each have their own requirements
Thank you both so much for the information. Do i need to be at the embassy to apply online through their computers? or just anywhere in KL? Should I apply through the website that you mentioned Ellie?
