TLDR : Answer Summary
There is currently no confirmed update regarding the transition of Thailand's visa on entry from 30 days to 60 days. Comments indicate speculation suggests changes may occur by July, but there is uncertainty around this date. No official announcement has been made, and many users recommend following reliable news sources for updates rather than relying on gossip or unverified information.

The latest I heard and read about it is that there Will be a decision end of July, they are a little concerned about all the people who works in the emigration offices.
This year I had to extend my visa from 60 to 90 days and it took all day at the emigration office we all had to wait, never again now I Will have the visa before I leave.
it’s not a visa on entry. It is a ‘visa-free’ entry allowing you to stay vida free for a defined period of time.

This question has been asked 1000 times in the last week or so scroll back to previous post and you will get your answer
Having stayed here thru covid they start telling you no no no and at the beginning of the month we’d be ok again with our visas as they were extended.
The process is like a circus 🤡. But eventually they change it . So 3 months after they announce stuff it may happen

My sister said her boyfriend said his brother had read (on Facebook) that his uncle had seen that his wife's workmate said that a Thai friend had heard vai someone at immigration that told a bar girl that told her "boyfriend" that it would start at some point.
According to an article my uncle's second aunty (through marriage) heard from a Thai guy who was taught English by a Norwegian guy who was dating this Russian woman on Khao San Rd.
My best friends Aunties husbands brother just told me. He works at the airport, he know's everything, he even knew the Earth was flat before anyone else!
Yep, 1st July (although July of what year is still uncertain)

As soon as any real information is available you can guarantee that it’ll be blasted all over the inter web. This site and other visa forums. No one knows any details yet. Even immigration officials don’t know specifics as yet.
My guess would be July 1st, but it’s just a guess. I could be out by 2 days or 180…..
