Evening all ,

I need a little advise please , We are landing in phuket airport on the 25th December .

Do we get covid tested at phuket airport?

Our hotel is SHA plus approved is this ok for us to stay in this hotel until we get our results?

Does anyone know the cost of the PCR tests at phuket airport and how do we book this or do we have to do it when we arrive ?

Also how do we pay ?

We are from the UK and all of us are fully vaccinated?

Sorry for all the questions 1st time coming to Thailand 😀

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice regarding their arrival in Phuket on December 25th, specifically about COVID-19 testing protocols, hotel accommodations, and test booking procedures. Comments indicate that a PCR test is currently required at the airport, with a pre-booking option available at a specified website. Costs for the tests are provided, along with suggestions to wait for updated regulations that may simplify testing to an antigen test. Additionally, there are tangential comments on visa processes and payment issues unrelated to the COVID-19 inquiry.

Good evening folks from California

I finished the long process of gathering all the requirements needed for my OA retirement visa and submitted them today and got the confirmation that the submission had been completed

Now I will wait for revisement/approval

My question is has anyone else had problems with making the payment for this process?

I went on to the site for payment and tried several different cards could not get it to work

It goes through a company called "Worldpay"

If you have any experience with this and or solutions I would much appreciate the help 🙏

From the 15th it’s a lateral flow test , wait until the 1st of December as that’s when the new rules will probably be published , but just now you can book the arrival test at the psas web site but whether it will be the same for the lateral flow or not I don’t know , the rtpcr test is 2200Thai baht (£50) per test I would presume the LF test will be a lot cheeper

The rules are changing. Unfortunately they’re not confirmed yet so we don’t know what they may be. As of this time if you fly in to Phuket you are tested for a PCR test at the airport and you can book and prepay your test here

If as expected they change to an antigen test only the cost should be much cheaper.

The next couple of days should give us better understanding of what the rules may be.

just wondering! I already paid for PCR test arriving Dec 30 at Phuket. I don’t care about a refund. Hoping since they have my info I just show up and get whatever test they are giving?
