I’m planning to come to Thailand on 28th December, haven’t booked anything yet as was wanting to see if there was any changes to having to stay in a SHA hotel for one night. I have both vaccines and booster, can someone advise if there is going to be a change soon or do I have to just book up for the 1 night?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The participant is seeking clarification on whether it is necessary to stay in a SHA hotel for one night upon arriving in Thailand on December 28th, especially since they are fully vaccinated. Responses suggest that it is advisable to book a SHA hotel, as changes are not expected before their arrival, and it could be wise to choose a hotel with a flexible cancellation policy.

Things could change for better or worse. Either way you are rolling the dice.

I doubt it. And it's only one night, can you suck it up for one night anyway...

1 night ain’t a problem but I’ve also heard that it was going the other way (more days) due to this new outbreak.

Can't see it changing between now and the 28th, I would book, but look for a hotel that offers a refund for cancellation.
