First, I am grateful for all the great advice from the forum members about using the non O retirement visa (applied in Thailand) for 90 days stay...and repeating it every year.
Now my only two remaining questions are...
1. what would be visa cost for the first 90 days visa...I've heard its B2000; and,
2. If I can use the duration of 90 day stay without depositing B800,000 in a Thai bank account. Since I am not going for extending the visa for 1 year.
I'd really appreciate your advice...again.
Just curious, I was reading in some forum that there is a 90-day generic tourist visa.but I am not sure about that. Thank you so much again. Best. LK
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the costs associated with obtaining a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand for a 90-day stay, including whether the requirement to deposit 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank account applies if they do not plan to extend their visa. Community members clarify that proof of funds is necessary for the Non-O visa application and discuss the option of a regular tourist visa.
