What are the requirements for maintaining a DTV for cooking in Thailand during a five-year stay?

Hi if you apply for a dtv for cooking and get approved, I am assuming this means you take different cooking courses for 5 years? Or is taking 1- 6 month or 1 year class all that is required even if staying for 5 years?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you obtain a DTV (Digital Nomad Tourist Visa) for cooking, you only need to enroll in a cooking course upon approval. While you are not required to complete ongoing courses for the full five years, if you extend your stay at an immigration office, you must demonstrate that you are still enrolled in a cooking course. Some individuals have found that border runs can be used to avoid checks on course enrollment.

Currently, if approved, that is the only course you need to take for the 5 year visa. However, if you extend at an immigration office in the country, you will have to show an ongoing course. If you leave and re-enter for a new 180 day term currently there are no checks for an ongoing course.

Currently there are no requirements that you even attend the courses you signed up for. This will change in the future, as the abuse is identified, but it won't affect you for five years, unless you decide to extend the 180 day entry inside Thailand.
