What are the best ways to provide proof of accommodation for a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand?

I am applying for my 60 day tourist Visa. I stay at a small non-commercial muay thai gym where English is not best spoken. I contact them through WhatsApp and reserve my accommodation here. I have heard a screenshot of a WhatsApp message won't be adequate for the Visa accommodation proof. Can anybody give any suggestions of how to go around this? Should I get the gym owner to write me a letter on WhatsApp and put it into a PDF maybe?

Most, if not all, these gyms have an association with a small hotel. The bottom line is: if you are paying to train, then get a letter that states you are training, and that the accommodations are. You may have a problem with the gym you are choosing if it is a mom-and-pop, non-commercial gym, as IMM may want more info not just to protect IMM but also to protect you.

What information or documentation would you expect them to provide to make that guarantee credible?

As an alternative to an accommodation booking you can show a letter of invitation from the owner but it will need to include a copy of their Thai ID and the Thai house book for where you will stay. You might find it easier just to book some hotel accommodation which you can later cancel

Lucas Duggleby for invitations you need to upload copies of signed blue housebook and Thai ID card of the houseowner . .It is easier to book a few first nights in a hotel and cancel as soon as you have submitted the e-visa application

Lucas Duggleby they won't but if they do ask for accommodation details they will not know what was on your visa application so you'd show your WhatsApp
