What are the best methods to find affordable flights to Thailand?

Question

Should I use Kayak, Priceline, Cheapflights, just watch the price on Google flights? What is the best way to find affordable flights to Thailand?

Ask Thailand · Answer

To find affordable flights to Thailand, users suggest utilizing flight comparison websites like Skyscanner and Momondo, as well as Google Flights for price alerts. Many recommend booking directly with airlines to avoid issues associated with third-party services. Signing up for alerts from airlines and checking promotional offers can also lead to better deals. Direct flights into Bangkok (BKK) are often the most economical, and some travelers mention their experiences with specific airlines like Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways for reasonable fare options.

I use momondo and then book with airline.

I just flew to Thailand on Monday Direct from London with Thai Airways, £670 return including checked luggage and preferred seats. Best way to book is to follow the airline when they are running a promotion. At the moment Qatar airlines are running a promotion.

I found all the available sites offered basically the same flights and prices. I called the online site I have used in the past to see if they truely had special deals for phone only. Ended up paying what I was seeing everywhere, but they got me on a flight that I didn't on any of my searches. Instead of a 6 hour layover in ICN, I only have 1 hour 50 minutes. That's a huge win for me

Mike ******* · Answer

I use cathaypacific dot com and hkexpress dot com. With at least 8 direct flights every day from HKG to BKK and CNX, there are often good fares to be found.
