And this becomes really confusing. Do you want a border run for a new 90 day stay based on the bilateral agreement which is employment prohibited, than the best and easiest way is to fly out and back. OR do you, as you mention want a Tourist Visa, which is also employment prohibited from a Thai Consulate or Embassy? Best advice is the Work Permit and Non Immigrant B visa as working as Scuba Dive Instructor.

it's NOT a tourist visa, you get stamped in with NO visa for 90 days on a Brazilian passport.

You don't get a visa-on-arrival :/ There is NO 90 day visa on arrival. :(

IF you are from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru or South Korea you get a 90 day visa exempt entry

Some land borders will NOT let people from those countries bounce out and back in.

How about saying where you're thinking of bouncing at?

You mean limit of land border entry twice per calendar year, but it's only for 30 days visa exempt entry for specific nationalities. When you are stamped for 90 days, It's based on bilateral agreement, not visa exempt scheme. Some borders would not stamp you in based on those bilateral agreement. That's why

asks where you are thinking.

And you may not want to go to northern border if you are staying southern Thailand or vice versa. Better mention which area you are thinking if you want to know if it's possible for you to bounce at the border.
