ChiangMai Retirement Extension: 800k Baht Bank Requirement Clarified

Preparing for non-O retirement extension in ChiangMai. Checking for changes. Any new forms?

Using the 800k baht in Thai bank, does the previous year print out from the bank need to date from the time of my 2025 application or the stated date for the extension issue which is 1st June. In other words, when is the beginning date of the year print out from the bank.?

Then, I have to match my bank book with the statement on date of renewal application.

In Hua Hin for the last few years I have to add a photocopy of each page of my bank book, plus my banks official documents…

It is at time tricky to match everything as per precise date - because you can apply for yearly extension up to 45 days prior to expiration - like going tomorrow 1st may but previous extension is up to 3 weeks later -

So the bank did 1st april starting date to today - and the passbook will be updated the same morning -

They want to see the seasoning after the stamp /3months / and prior to the day of re-apply for extension/2 months and that yoy never went <400k

Your best bet is to to start the statement from the month previous - thats what bank do anyways- you ask in may start 21st they will do from 1st may anyways - sonit comes back to almost 13 months

I've always asked for the last 13 months just to play it safe and add a little padding.

there are reports now that they want to see the year print out from the date you APPLIED for the previous years extension (because you have to follow the seasoning requirements from that date)
