I'm applying for non-O 90 days visa outside from home country. I uploaded 2 days ago the hotel booking receipt of first 15 days as it requested for "long-term accommodation proof". Unfortunaately I receive reply email that "proof of long-term accommodation for 90 days" is requested. Does it means that I really need to provide a lease contract? But the point is I only able to find long-term rental house after entering Thailand!!! Anyone can give advice, thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a Non-O 90 days visa and submitted a short-term hotel booking, but was informed they need proof of long-term accommodation for the full 90 days. They seek advice on how to provide the required documentation since they can only secure long-term housing after arriving in Thailand. Suggestions from comments include booking an extended hotel stay for 90 days, considering a Non-OA visa that allows for a longer initial stay, and seeking alternatives like Airbnb for medium to long-term accommodations.

Airbnb has medium to long term stays. We booked 3 months from Sept to early Dec. Discounted stay of course.

Book 90 days at Hotel where pre-payment is not required… once Non-O granted, cancel booking?

Have u considered the Non-OA instead from inside your country? Great if u plan on going back to your country a few times. It’s 1yr visa instead of initial 90 and if u leave and return prior to end of visa validation u get stamped in for another year. It’s multi entry so u save some cash if you are traveling a lot during the first year.

Yes, actually I plan to apply non-OA as first choice. However, I get the application form from local Thai consulate and there is a field request for "Guarantor in Thailand" which requires name, phone number and address of the person. Moreover, there is also request for long term accommodation address(may be need to cover one year). I don't have any friends or relatives in Thailand so that it seems I can't proceed for non-OA. Then I changed to non-O 90 days in order to open bank account after entering Thailand..

you don't really want a non-OA. Way more requirements to apply initially, plus you need health insurance for your entire stay that meets the visa requirements. Not worth the hassle.

You need to make a hotel booking for 90 days then. SOME consulates require lodging for the duration of the initial 90 day Non-O visa and evidently the one you're applying thru requires it
