What are some suitable places near Bangkok for someone with mold allergies, and how can I manage my bank account during the move?

Hello!

I am on DTV & I will be in Bangkok on 31st December. As I am suffering from mold allergy / VOC allergies can anyone guide me to suggest some city / town near Bangkok (where I can be in nature, with some hiking trails & greenery around)? I can not stay near seashore due to the humidity & prevalent Mold issues. I tried staying in Pattaya for a few months but my health deteriorates due to the mold issues.

I already have a bank account in Pattaya (Bangkok Bank). Can I transfer my account to a new city / town where I will be staying (based on TM30 or something)? Or can I open a new bank account based on the existing one? In a month how many ATM withdrawals are free of charge (for foreigners) in ATMs in different provinces or cities any idea?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on suitable places near Bangkok to live for someone with mold and VOC allergies, emphasizing the need for greenery and hiking trails while avoiding high humidity areas near the seashore. Suggestions include exploring areas with less mold exposure and considering highland locations. There are also inquiries about managing their bank account in Pattaya, including transferring or opening a new account, and details about ATM withdrawal fees for foreigners.

Look for somewhere newly built or well built to stay in. Good luck.

You can use your Thai bank account anywhere without fees, install the app from the bank on your phone, you can scan at the shops or take money out without needing ATM card.

It is burning season soon up north which drifts smog across most regions, please consider this as well if you have breathing issues. Particularly bad in chiang mai areas

You prob need to go somewhere up in the highlands tbh if you are having issues with mold and humidity.

Thanks! I heard of it. I guess, still it could pose pollution risks? Any idea or you suggest me to try? Any idea if I can get some homestay or cheaper hotels nearby from where I can commute on a daily basis there?
